These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mAI Home mobile application and website (the "Service") operated by mAI Home ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or 13 years old with parental consent), and that you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

mAI Home is a smart home automation platform that allows you to monitor and control compatible smart devices (lights, switches, appliances, locks, etc.) through integrations with third-party platforms including Tuya and Tinxy.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You may not create accounts for others without their consent.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Use the Service to interfere with or disrupt devices belonging to others
• Transmit malicious code or attempt to compromise the security of the Service

5. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (Tuya, Tinxy, Home Assistant). By using these integrations, you also agree to those platforms' respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the actions, availability, or policies of third-party services.

6. Safety Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: mAI Home controls physical electrical devices. You are solely responsible for the safe use, installation, and operation of all connected devices. Do not use mAI Home to control devices in ways that could cause fire, injury, or property damage. Always comply with local electrical safety standards.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by mAI Home and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any losses due to Service unavailability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, mAI Home shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or device malfunction, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless mAI Home from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via the app or by contacting us.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in India.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
